WHY FILM?

There’s nothing quite like the nostalgia that comes from film. It’s something you really cannot replicate with digital. In a world of all things instant and digital, analog just feels so damn good- and so is the nostalgia that follows.
I can’t even begin to describe the way film elevates a wedding gallery. It brings all the emotions, and truly provides a whole different perspective and vibe to your gallery.
Analog is good for many reasons, but this one may be my favorite. Film requires thoughtfulness. Film requires emotion behind the lens. Film requires us to slow down.
The emotion that film brings is honestly indescribable. Film makes you feel all things giddy and joyous, emotional and nostalgic.

super 8 is vintage 8mm film from the 1960’s and 1970’s. it brings such a unique perspective to moments and memories. super 8 films do not include audio, so our super 8 films are edited and set to music, and they are pure magic.

You’ll see a lot of our family in these film photos. We’ve been using film (especially Polaroids) for a very long time to document our own family memories and milestones. Film has become our preferred method of preserving our own moments. Rest assured, we offer film because we honestly and whole-heartedly love it. We offer film because we would want film shot for ourselves and our own family. And we want to provide you with nothing less than what we would want for our own family memories.
