For Families
Think of our time together as an experience, not a photoshoot. It won’t ever be that kind of session where the kids need to sit still and smile for a perfect family photo, but rather, interactive, light-hearted, and involved. I take the time with each family to curate a light and fun environment. Some children need extra attention, some need me to be far away (stranger danger is so real), to feel comfortable. Part of job is distinguishing what each family needs and how to provide an environment where these beautiful moments can cultivate.
For Couples
Our couples environments are always fun, light, and romantic. I also am very big on curating a vibe that fits you as a couple. Some couples will be loud and fun, others will be on the shyer side and prefer a more “posed” session. When you are in front of my lens, it is my job to help you feel comfortable, confident, and to make you forget you’re actually getting your photos taken. We’re here to capture your love and what that looks like to you as a couple and that looks a little different for everyone. We discover our couples as individuals, and as a whole so we can gauge exactly how to approach your session and how to capture moments that are authentic to you.

You also have the option to choose a 1 hour mentor session and pick my brain on anything you’d like!

Being new to photo sessions can be overwhelming. Perhaps you’re, unfamiliar with the process, unsure how to pose, or anxious that kiddos won’t cooperate.
The biggest thing you can expect from our shoot is guidance (and some laughs!). We classify our style as “lifestyle photography” meaning no awkward posing, and more candid prompts. Our focus is to get everyone to engage in very natural moments. Some of our best work has come from kiddos running wild and couples belly-laughing.

Yeppers! Whether you’re wanting city vibes or want to be immersed in mother nature, we have lists of previously visited locations that we love. We are always open to new locations as well and love a good adventure, so if you have an idea already in mind, fire away!!

Crazy enough, this question gets asked a lot. We personally are huge fans of neutrals with small pops of color, but we do encourage our clients to stick to their own style and what they feel comfortable in!

We do! However, any locations that are over 30 miles from us will incur a fee which can be discussed prior to booking! If you are a wedding client looking for wedding photo coverage outside of the Pittsburgh area, please fill out a wedding inquiry form so we can chat details.

We do tend to book up at least 2 to 3 months in advance depending on the season, however, we do occasionally have some availability sooner! You can also reach out to be put on the cancellation list, and we’ll reach out when availability opens up.
Because weddings are booked up to a year in advance, we recommend inquiring and securing your date with a singed contract and paid deposit as soon as you've decided to hire us!

I completely understand the anticipation, but I’m not the type of photographer to rush a gallery before I know it’s ready just to have it delivered. Each gallery is hand-crafted with a lot of love and back-end hours put into it.
For standard sessions, the average turnaround time for final gallery delivery tends to be around 3-4 weeks. Final wedding gallery delivery is a turnaround time of about 6-8 weeks.
